A distinctive word is a good beginning
Enter the shortest part of a title that you recognize. If too many results appear, choose Movies or Series, then a year or original language. A search becomes easier to understand when you add one restriction at a time.
Names that belong to more than one production
What We Do in the Shadows names both a film and a series. Avatar: The Last Airbender has animated and live-action productions. Use format and year before choosing a result, then confirm the cast and premise on the detail page. Searching a later season's year can hide a series whose parent record began earlier.
People and episodes
Select Cast to search an actor's name, or Directors for a filmmaker. Character names are not interchangeable with actor names. When you know an episode, append a season and number to the title. The search uses listed episodes rather than assuming every possible number exists.
For browsing without a title, leave the text empty and use a genre or country. If the result set disappears unexpectedly, reset the filters and try again. Movie-length filters are intended for films, while country filters describe production countries, not your current viewing location.
Open search and save a promising result with its heart. You can change the filters afterward without losing that saved choice.
